The beach is a feel-good place. I was delighted to be there on this lovely summer morning--and so were Zoe and Wally, very special dogs belonging to my friend, Judy.
Zoe, the little one, is an "ambassador of the sand." She meets and greets everyone proferring good will with an enthusiasm no one refuses. Judy follows with communication of the human kind.
Wally reuires a leash. To let him run free isn't an option even though it is permissable, by law, until 9 o'clock in the morning. Still, he had a grand time and returned home in a mellow mood and ready to nap. (I felt that way, too.)
Zoe and Wally uncover the dog lover in me--and I am grateful.
